چکیده

Parton distributions in the photon from γ * γ and γ * p scattering Abstract Leading order parton distributions in the photon are extracted from the existing F γ 2 measurements and the low-x proton structure function. The latter is related to the photon structure function by assuming Gribov factorization to hold at low x. The resulting parton distributions in the photon are found to be consistent with the Frankfurt–Gurvich sum

Abstract. Hadron structure from high-Q2 γ∗ p scattering processes is often expressed in terms of hadronic matrix elements of nonlocal operators. Properly defining and interpreting these quantities is very important in light of experiments aiming to extract transverse momentum dependent parton distributions or generalized parton distributions. The current status will be reviewed, including recen...

The skewing factor, defined as the ratio of the imaginary parts of the amplitudes ImA(γ∗ p → γ∗ p)/ImA(γ∗ p → γ p) is extracted for the first time from the data using recent Deeply Virtual Compton Scattering (DVCS) and the inclusive inelastic cross section measurements at DESY-HERA. The results values are compared to theoretical predictions for NLO QCD and the colour dipole approach.
